Hi I’m Tyler Gates,

The founder and creator of P.E. with Mr. G! I created my Youtube Channel in 2015 to help other Physical Educators and share my own ideas as well as teaching strategies that worked for me.  I started my channel with some extra free time I had after work one day. I would have never thought my first video I created would get over 26,000 views! 

On this site, you will find all things class related to elementary physical education.  This upcoming school year will be my 8th year of teaching.  With each year, comes new games and activities that I try to create and incorporate into my lessons.  All of the games I share have all been taught to my own students.  I hope you find this site helpful and can incorporate something new into your own class.  

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, cycling, working out, hiking, cooking from scratch, traveling, and urban farming.
