Taking P.E. To A New Level
The newest edition to the Move and Freeze series is here, and this time it’s all about Valentine’s Day! ️
My first Thanksgiving Move and Freeze was a huge hit with my younger K-2 students, and it was fun watching them come up with their own unique movements
Move and Freeze is a fun freeze dance game that can be used as a Valentine’s Day brain break or an elementary PE game. It also makes for a fun classroom activity for any Valentine’s Day party!
If you’re interested in more Valentine’s Day brain breaks, classroom games, or PE games, then be sure to check out Find The Gnome, Cupid On The Run, and Valentine’s Day Would You Rather?
-You can start by bringing up the video (which can be found below) or you can find it here PE With Mr G
-To start, players will read the movement challenge that appears on the screen
-Players will then move and dance to the music using that movement challenge
-You can encourage your students to be creative when playing as there are a variety of ways to perform each challenge
-Be sure to watch the screen as new movement challenges will appear
-When the music stops, make sure you freeze and don’t move a muscle!
